DAY 01 : DELHI
Arrive Delhi early in the morning where you are received by our executive and transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel followed by an afternoon city tour of Delhi. Delhi is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity apart from being the capital of India. The history of Delhi dates back to around thousands of years. The city tour covers Qutab Minar built by Qutbuddin Aibak and completed by his son-in-law Altmash. There you can also visit the 4th century Iron Pillar bearing Sanskrit inscription. Move towards India Gate built in memory of the martyrs of the World War I. Continue your tour to Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Parliament House and the other government buildings. Afternoon visit to Red Fort on the banks of Yamuna River which also has the Pearl Mosque built by Shah Jahan's son, Aurangazeb, the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. Overnight stay at the Delhi hotel
02 DAY : NEW DELHI – CHANDIGARH
Early morning take a break fast and drive to Chandigarh after reach in Chandigarh, cheack in hotel Afternoon sightseeing of Chandigarh, the best-planned city of India. Mansa Devi Temple: A typical example of North Indian architecture Mansa Devi Temple, lying in Bilaspur village, about three kilometers east of Mani Majra in Chandigarh, has two temples dedicated to the goddess. It is believed that the older temple was built by the ruler of Mani Majra.

03 DAY : CHANDIGARH-NAINA DEVI-CHINTPURNI
After breakfast, leave for Chandigarh en route visiting Naina Devi Temple: It is one of the 51 'Shakti Pithas'.. Reach Chintpurani and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Chintpurni hotel.
04 DAY : CHINTPURNI – JWALA DEVI- KAGDA DEVI- CHAMUNDA DEVI- DHARAMSALA
After darshan, break fast and drive to the temple dedicated to Mata Chintpurni Devi is located in District Una, Himachal Pradesh. Mata Chintpurni Devi is also known as Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi.
Jwalamukhi Temple: (The Flaming Goddess) recognized as one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India, Jwalamukhi's Devi Temple, tended by the followers of Goraknath, is set against a cliff. The picturesque temple, built against a wooded spur, in the Indo-Sikh style, has a dome that was gilded by Mughal Emperor Akbar. An eternally burning flame that issues from a hollow rock in the sanctum is considered the manifestation of the goddess Devi
Kangra Devi. Then visit BRAJESHWAR temples in KANGRA This temple is dedicated to Sui Mata, the local princess of Chamba who sacrifice her life for the people of her kingdom.Colourful paintings on the temple wall depicts the story of SuiMata. The style which makes the temple different from others is the shikara style and in top there is a wooden amalaka.
Chamunda Devi Temple: It is an enchanting spot with glorious views of the mountains, the Baner Khud, Pathiar and Lahla forests. 15-km from Dharamshala a tiny village of Dadh on Palampur road is the famous temple dedicated to Goddess Chamunda Devi. On reaching the temple a glorious view of Dhaula Dhar on three sides and 'Baner Khud' flowing alongside the temple.The temple has artistic carvings on its lintel, pillars and the ceiling. 05 DAY : DHARAMSHALA – KATRA
This early morning after break fast drive to holi city of MATA VASHANO DEVI (Katra) .On arrival check in hotel. Over night stay at the katra hotel.
06 DAY : KATRA
This early morning start walk to holy cave of shrine Vaishno Devi Temple: Faith has moved mountains. The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas. It is located 61 km north of Jammu at a height of 5,200 feet above the sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
The shrine is visited all through the year, but the path is difficult during the winters when the route is often blocked by snow-fall. After darshan return to Katra. Overnight stay at Katra hotel
08 DAY : KATRA – AMRITSAR
Early morning take a breakfast and later drive to Amritsar after reach in Amritsar, check in hotel and visit Wagah Border. It is located at a distance of 28 kilometers from Amritsar. People visit Wagah border to see "Beating the Retreat" ceremony performed by the soldiers in evening. Soldiers from India and Pakistan perform a flag march. The flags are both the countries are brought down. Then the gates between India and Pakistan are opened. Soldiers perform some drills and then the complex is illuminated. The whole ceremony takes about half an hour.. Over night stay at the Amritsar hotel.
09 DAY : AMRITSAR CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit Jalianwala Bagh A memorial and garden have been created here as a national monument .Golden Temple in Amritsar is a place frequented by Sikhs all round the year. Countless pilgrims visit Golden Temple to pay homage to the holy shrine. Golden Temple is also known as Hari Mandir meaning Temple of God. The Temple has a tank (Sarovar) that is believed to possess healing powers. Sikh Gurus founded new centers for the promotion of Sikhism and these centers became popular as Sikh pilgrimage sites. Overnight stay at Amritsar Hotel.
10 DAY : AMIRTSAR / NEW DELHI (450 km / 10 hours)
After break fast drive to Delhi, on arrival Delhi after dinner transfer to airport or railway station for onward destination. |
