Bobby Thakur, current director of Kalka Travels 'agency started as a private driver in 1995.
At that time, he met travellers coming from far and became interested by others countries. He appreciated these special relationships: discovery of different cultures and started to dream about building his own travel agency...
Thanks to some very nice meeting at his beginnings, he gained self confidence meanwhile starting to learn a bit of french. In 1999, the adventure started when he gave the name of Kalka Travels. Since then, the agency is proposing car rental with private drivers to travel all over north India. Some years later, animated by a strong spirit of enterprise and attracted by customer care, Bobby finally created a complete travel agency of which he became the director: it was the voyageeninde.net's birth with the offices in the heart of New Delhi, 2 steps far from Connaught Place.
Actually Kalka Travels is the name of the society of 2 sister branches: www.carrentaldelhi.com for car rental only and www.voyageeninde.net which is a english and french speaking Tour Operator for north and south India with the target to help you to create a personalize trip which you will never forget!
For that, Bobby greats you in his office at your arrival in Delhi and remain available 24H a day on his mobile phone to help you in case of any difficulties you could face during your trip. The others specification of Kalka Travels is that she definately fight for her independance which is the safeguard of your complete freedom. Consequently they are one of the few companies who can assure you that she is not dealing with any commissioned shop.
On the managing side, Kalka Travels is also very careful about the well being of the staff. We truly believe that a company is working thanks to everybody who is involved in it so that they should also be satisfied of their work to be able to satisfy you. Of course, all of our drivers are kind, well experienced, they perfectly know the tourism world and get all the authorizations of work.
Currently, we have our own fleet of 30 vehicles what is explaining our very competitive prices.
Last but not least, conscious about their social responsabilities inside mother India, they have decided to sponsorise a local association, promoting through them a responsible and sustainable tourism. Do not hesitate to contact them about this in order to know more about it and maybe to help them to sustain this project!
In one word, the logo "Atithi devo bhava" means that the quality of service is - the masala of our company
